The car was fitted with a 3.0-litre, fully watercooled engine (water-water) and a Bosch Motronic 1.7. Since then the car has been completely rebuilt. All components have been crack-tested and x-rayed, the correct 3.0-litre engine and the gearbox have been totally rebuilt before the 2007 race in Spa. The car is now offered for sale with a fresh engine, a lot of period photos and documentation, the original period FIA papers, the original period DMSB Wagenpass (German racing papers) and some interesting spare parts as two other complete body sets (including the fully original Le Mans ‘Langheck’ version), gear ratios, suspension parts and all necessary electronics to run the car. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a ‘non stories’ historic Group-C car with tripple Le Mans history and only one long-term owner from new.
